Enabling Users in the VIDIZMO Portal
To re-activate users, you can enable them in the portal if they are disabled. To learn about Users & Groups, see Understanding User Management.
Prerequisites
- Only users with access rights to the user management group can enable other users in the portal or if their group has user management feature permission enabled.
Enable Individual User
To enable a single user, follow these steps.
- From the Portal's Home page, click on the navigation menu on the top left.
- Expand the Admin tab.
- Select Users & Groups to open the Users & Groups page.
4. On the Users and Groups page, all users are displayed within the All Users (default group). You can use the filter function to search for a specific user or view users within other groups.
5. From the Members section on the right-hand side of the screen, click the Filter icon.
6. In the Enable/Disable dropdown, select Disable.
7. Click Apply to view disabled users.
8. Click the three dots next to the user you wish to enable. Select Enable option.
A notification will be displayed briefly stating: Selected users have been enabled successfully.
Enable Users in Bulk
Utilize the bulk option on the User and Group page to enable users efficiently. Follow the steps below.
- As described in above section filter out users in disabled state.
- Select users in bulk and check the boxes next to their names within the default All Users group or any specific group from which you wish to enable users in the portal.
- Click the Action button.
- Select the enable option from the available options.
A notification will be displayed briefly stating users have been enabled successfully.
